need info on engine

i currently have a 1985 mercury grand marquis v8 5.0 i am told that my antifreze is mixing with my oil i dont totaly trust the source so how can i find out for myself if my antifreze is really mixing with my oil my email is robert_payne60@yahoo.com

Please take replies here. The head gasket could mix anti-freeze and engine oil or transmission cooling in radiator could mix ATF with coolant or vs versa. Check each fluid. Oils in cooling system will ruin the rubber hoses. If engine oil, coolant, or ATF shows mixing (usually foamy brown or pink depanding) you should tend to this at once to save bucks in further damage, T
