my car backfires and bogs down when i give it gas

my cars bogs down when idling and spits and sputters. when i give it gas it almost die while sputtering and backfiring. if i acclereat at over 3k rpm it levels out and is normal, but only when accelereating, not if i hold it at 3k rpm. i dont know what the hell is wrong. i have already replaced distributer cap today, the fuel filter last week, checked almost all vacume lines except one running over gas tank ( not sure what its for), checked both pumps in tank and exterior, tried adjusting distrubuter timing. NOTHING HAS WORKED CAN YOU HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!
It happened while i was driving one second its fine the next second it obviosly wasnt!

your timing belt may have jumped a few teeth . verify the cam/valve timing
