Ok, ok.....lame I know but I'm getting help for that.... 1st you need to narrow down which cyl/cyls are misfiring and start off with a compression check. Since you've already changed all the ign stuff I would try swapping the injectors. I'm assuming when you say "on demand" you mean under load. That is usually an ign problem but not always. 1st things 1st.. Start off with verifying the mechanical condition of the engine, pull codes and also let us know what engine you have.... If it's a 3.1 or 3.4 that is missing on 5 & 6 with the oil light on, then the new will be real bad........... redblade New User Jan 1, 2011, 8:09 PM Post #3 of 4 (2518 views) Re: misfiring Sign In tnx 4 answering ys by demand I do mean with load at idle or even in park when giving it throttle it will not misfire it is a 3.4 the only light that will come on is the battery light .We have check no codes Have put a meter on the alt. it is fine & 2 month ago we just put a new battery in it ...The battery light only comes on 4 a moment more of a flickering but only when its misfiring . That what makes us think its electrical .
