Hello I have a problems with Audi 200 turbo quattro. When engine is cold the oil presure is more or less ok. But when it warming up the oil presure is falling down and I can hear some noises from engine The engine is not new, it run about 300000 km already. So I know that there is some adds to oil that named "engine repower" or something like that. Maybe that coud help to renew some engine parts and to prolong my engines life. If someone tried something like that, please tell me more about effects. Thank you for your comments.

This is a problem with a worn engine on its way out. Perhaps a stronger oil pump if available would buy some time. As for the oil additives they are basically thickening the oil like the popular STP brand of additive. There's no magic and none of these things repair the problem but can cover it up. Use the heavy grade oils like 20w-50 and the STP and it may behave for a while with just that. Those things really don't help starting the car in cold weather though. What's happening now is the oil is just thicker when it's cold. If they make an oil pump that can put out more volume that would last longer, T
