Though I know it's not time to change out the timing belt I am preparing to do that. A local mechanic said that I should also change out the water pump since he'll be in there and the pump runs off the timing belt. Not being a mechanic it sounds reasonable but is it? You may pay a little more, but the quality is a whole lot better.
