99 chry. t&c 3.8 178k. A couple of days ago ,after the van had been driven most of the day, I tried to start the van and it Fired but wouldnt run longer than a second. Fourth or fifth try it started and ran fine. Driving later that day and ABS then ALARM SET light came on and all gauges slowly dropped to zero , but van ran fine and all electronics worked (except, speedo, tach ,temp and fuel). Cleaned a corroded pos. terminal and looked for any loose connections around battery but all seems tight and it ran fine for a couple of days until it did the exact same thing again.??????????
thanks so much for any help or ideas (I need this van to keep going for a while longer, if you know what I mean)

Hi ,I have seen this problem many times and the end result is that you probably need a new instrument cluster but there are several modules on your vehicle including your IP cluster and each can communicate with a scanner and all will provide diagnostic trouble codes if present also with bi-directional scanner you will be able to perform a guage sweep test ,this is where to start Good Luck ............Todd
