I have a new fuel filter, but cannot find out where it goes. I have done the obvious, and have gone through most everything under the hood, looking for a part that looks like the replacement... not to be found. Any ideas where the fuel filter is located? The fuel filter on a 1980 Honda accord hatchback is located under the car, in the rear, next to the fuel pump. Unscrew 4 bolts that hold protective plate, filter sits next to pump.
