fuel Sign In

94 ranger. 2.3 liter. fuel pump and filter new a couple months ago. I carry spare relays. ran perfect when i parked it yesterday. I can hear pump when I turn key. engine has good spark. starts mementarily then dies. seems to be not getting fuel. If I turn over engine with starter and hold down pedal it sputters.

Re: fuel Sign In

You've been giving advice all over the site and rebuilt your own engine and you can't figure that out?

You probably just need to carry bigger relays.

Re: fuel Sign In

The stuff I am familiar with doesnt have fuel injection or computers. Why would a relay work fine then 12 hours later i need a bigger one. You seem a bit sarcastic. What does a relay have to do with bolting an engine together. Nothing.

Hahaha...... Yeah, your right. Nobody is smarter than you.
That was a real smart idea of yours that you posted to run water instead of coolant in the summer to make it run cooler..... Your just Mr Wizard, aren't you?

Re: fuel Sign In

I should have known this was a redneck operation.. I was sincerely looking for information to fix my car, I can see only you are worthy to discuss anything here. I was only speeking from my own experience with my vehicles, I did not claim to be a pro.. The cherokee does have a sorry cooling system. I know what fixed mine. Ill stick to flying 737's from now on. excuse me.
