It will usually come back by hitting the dash. Or, you could pull the instrument cluster and look for a poor connection. Check the connector that 'plugs' into the cluster. You can run an artificial ground to it, also, to see if that is the problem. But I wanted to try to get a feel for how the gauges and dials work. The Tach isn't working but the speedo is functional (altough it occasionaly needs a whack on the dash). My wife said she has seen the Fuel and Temp gauges not work. So I take it the speedo and tach are electronic.
