Ford Ranger 3.0. 1998. I have a ticking noise coming from what sounds like the lifters but I've installed new lifters and push rods, and still get the same noise. It only starts ticking after the motor warms up. Good oil psi. New oil and filter. Now I've got the value cover off and motor started with no belt on front of motor and it still sounds like lifters. Motor runs perfect, good power, runs smooth.
