Hi I was driving my ford fiesta zetec (2004) at 65 mph on the motorway, i was pulling of the motorway and the engine just stopped. The engine failure warning light, oil warning light and battery warning light all came on. Problem was i also lost control of the steering and had to force the steering wheel round so i didn't end up in a ditch! on the first go the engine started again straight away. Does anyone know why this sudden engine failure would occur? every now and again i also have trouble starting the car and usually have to give it or 3 goes (matbe this is due to the immobiliser?). The car is in really good condition and has only done about 50,000 miles thanks in advance!
