So i replaced the water pump yesterday along with the serpentine and tensioner belts. The next fix has been around for about 6 months.
When i accelerate i can hear the exhaust blowing out from underneath the hood. Sounds like wind blowing out of a hole in a pipe. I'm wondering since this is an older car that i'm trying to squeeze another year out of, should i get this looked at or does it sound like a hole in the exhaust pipe? when idle int he cole u can see the exhaust rise out of the center of the engine under the hood, and when accelerating from within the car i can hear a blowing sound.

>>should i get this looked at << Yes. Once you get it diagnosed, you can make a more educated decision. An exhaust leak is not a good thing. Only takes a thimble full of Carbon Monoxide to kill a person.
