1990 Corsica LT 3.1 Ltr V6 w/ auto trans. & 150k miles
Engine died, refused to restart, took to mechanic (died in front of repair shop  )
plenty fuel pressure, spins over fine. once cooled off completely it would start. He replaced crankshaft monitoring gizmo, which was cracked. Same problem, engine will start but stalls when put under load. He says he is getting a "high" ohm reading across one of the injectors that he can access. A cousin of mine suggested that there is a circuit board withing the intake that might be the problem as his fathers' similar car had identicle issues a coupe yrs ago.
Any thoughts? I am on disabilty so the idea of putting $800 into this particular vehicle for the injectors doesn't seem very logical. ($77 ea x6 + $200-300 labor I'm guessing)

snobear; We need to find if it is lacking fuel or spark during the 'no start' condition. With that said, those engines were known for injector and harness issues. If you have just one injector out of specs, that can cause a rough running condition. All they are, is an electrical solenoid that opens and closes at varying speed for fuel delivery. But, if one shorts to ground, or there is a problem in the electrical harness that feeds them voltage, it can take down the bank. It is always recommended to replace all of the injectors at the same time, due to labor costs. But, if you are short on funds, you could replace just the one or two that are causing you grief. Just be prepared to be replacing the others when they take a dump. Kind of a 'pay me now, or pay me later' scenario.
