engine running rich,and tranny problems

1991,ford,bronco,5.0,4speed auto,4x4,130,000 miles.the engine is running rich while at idle. i have replaced the O2 sensor and the map.it will not idle for more than a few minutes at a time. next problem is the transmission dose not shift proper. the converter will not unlock when it needs to and will not down shift when it needs to, the only codes i am getting from the reader are about the coverter not un locking and about the tranny isnt recognising what gear its in. this is the 2nd trans mission and they both have acted the same. also since the 2nd trans was installed the truck will not crank in park and the 4x4 will not work. i suppose it probably has something to do with the fact it cant find neutral. i replaced the range selector on the tranny and it is properly adjusted but still no luck any suggestions please let me know. my email is nwrek@yahoo.com
