A 2002 ford focus/4 cyl, the engine sounds like when a car is first started and at high idle. But the sound never goes away. Even when driving at 30 mph it still has that higher reving sound.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

It sounds like you idle control motor maybe be stuck open or you have a big vacuum leak.
Run the engine at idle and see if you hear any hissing sounds coming from the engine. If you do, try to track it down and that may be your problem.....
