I have a 1994 Dodge Dakota Sport 3.9 V6 automatic . I had the trans. rebuilt and then changed spark plugs, wires, rotor,& cap while test driving I was traveling at 40 MPH and the trans. down shifted real hard causing the truck to jerk and back fire , I check trans. fluid and did not get a reading on the dip-stick , while checking I heard a knocking noise from the engine , I took the truck back to transmission shop and had trans. fixed again , upon picking truck up I noticed knocking noise was still there and that the truck has lost power , I have to almost floor it to reach 60 MPH on the interstate. What kind of damage could have been caused in this situation ?
