I have a 1999 chevy suburban K1500 with a 5.7 liter motor. The truck currently has 174,000 miles on it. Recently i noticed that after running the truck for about 45 min or so i would lose power when i tried to climb a hill. At first i though it could be a plugged convertor, but it cruises fine at 65 plus mph and doesn't get hot. As long as the truck is on level ground or down hill it runs fine. now im having a problem starting it in the morning. If i add a touch of fuel to the intake it starts and idles fine. If i accelerate slowly it also is ok. If i tromp the throttle it coughs and spits and will die. Fuel pressure at the rail is 45 psi after the pump cycles and 50 psi after it starts. I have tried un plugging the MAF,MAP, O2 sensors, tps ect. Nothing makes a difference. Could it be a faulty pump or regulator? If anyone has any ideas please let me know Thanks

Fuel pressure should be between 60 -66 psi, key on /engine off I'd say fuel pump..
