clutch pedal problem

clutch pedal problem Sign In

vauxhall vectra sri year 2000. 2 litre miles 85k. left car in reverse gear overnight, went out this morning and clutch pedal has no hold it is going straight to floor. no gears either am a woman lol

bloo; I haven't seen a Vauxhall in years, but I'm pretty sure that it has a hydraulic assited clutch. Open the bonnet, there should be a small reservoir for the clutch fluid. Make sure that it is full. Use only DOT 3 brake fluid. If it is low, then obviously, you have a leak somewhere. It could be the clutch master cylinder, or the slave cylinder.
