Re: clutch not working Sign In

Sure sounds like a total clutch wear out at first blush but verify it.

Usually there's some slippage noted before they get to this point but not much time before you are a pedestrianMad

If totally by surprise I'm surprised so do anything to make sure shifter is really shifting. By sight of moving parts or hoist any/all drive wheels and see if they will turn with no resistance still and probably would just forward and see reverse then I have to blame the clutch itself,

Re: clutch not working Sign In

The clutch uses DOT3 brake fluid. DO NOT put any type of petroleum based product in there, even a drop will ruin the system.

Catching up with this. Dot 3 it is as HT just said. could it stick as if pushed to floor? Never witnessed that but guess anything is possible and that too could be checked out. Would think it would feel real funky at the pedal from inside,
