car wont start but make a turning noise Sign In

I have a 2007 ford mustang 4.0 manual transmission. it has approx 48,000 miles. I am having an issue with it starting. for the past couple weeks it would take several tries before it would engage to start. sometimes if i kept the key on it would suddenly engage. and when it did start it would b a rough start but would stay running. sometimes it would start right up with no problem. now it doesnt start at all and it makes a noise like something is turning. the battery is new. could it be the starter or a silenoid? it doesnt click when i try to start it like it would if it was the starter.
thanks

You probably need to test your fuel pressure.

i am having a probelm with fouling a plug in cyl 5.. could that cause a fuel pressure problem and it cause the car not to start?
