hi all :)

i'm new to the forum and do not have very much mechanical knowledge at all.

so here's my problem, i have a vauxhall zafira 1.8 comfort, automatic/petrol. 1999.

it will not start in the morning whatsoever but will start in the afternoon without a problem.

i have had two diagnostics done by two different garages and they say they can not find anything the matter with it at all.
it seemed to start any time they tried morning or afternoon.

it always has plenty of petrol and the battery is fine as all the electrics work.

i will say that when i turn the key into the first position i get a sort of buzzing noise, it just does not turn over completely.

i am at a loss as to what the problem is and well i come here in the hope someone can offer me some advice.

It may seem the battery is fine, but I would have it checked and charged if needed. Also have the electrical system checked for any parisitic drains. Did you say it was a stick or automatic?

it's an automatic, the doors open fine with the key fob and the lights and radio are also fine and i would think they would not work if there was a battery problem or not.

can you please explain a bit more about parasitic drains please.
