While driving in the highway about
55 mi/hr my car all of the suddenly stalled, the engine light came on and there was no power pretty much died , few seconds later I restarted the car no problems and drove to a near parking lot. Right before the stalling of the vehicle I had heard a metallic sound but could not find the source, it would sound only when driving slowly, if the vehicle picked up speed it would not do it. Before driving the vehicle it had been park in the outside under heavy rain for last 10 hrs , and it was also raining during the driving .
Anybody has any clues as what might be the problem. I was thinking it could be the timing belt , but then the car would not have started right away.
