i'm having trouble keeping my 1991 chevy cavalier running it sounds like it want to turnover but the minute i let go of the starter it dies i try pumping the gas a little but that doesn't help i replaced the fuel filter so far but that didn't help any ideas out there that could help me thank you

Pumping the gas does nothing for fuel injected vehicles. Check for vacuum leaks and if you have a check engine light on get the code. If you don't have a code soon you will, T
