I have 2000 Sable NOT dual overhead. Very rough idle then quits at lights. 112,000 miles. Do I have same problem as person in Aug 2009? (see below)

The DPFE had nothing to do with your stalling in the first place. It may have put the check engine light on but didn't effect the way it ran.
If this is stalling atr idle when coming to a stop and starts right back up, you may have a bad IAC ( idle air control) but try cleaning the throttle body first. Remove the intake snorkel, have someone hold the throttle wide open for you and scrub the back side of the throttle plate and surrounding bore with an old tooth brush and some carb cleaner. Be sure to spray some into the small holes next to the throttle plate. That should help stabilize the idle. If it still has a problem, replace the IAC.

There are a lot of reasons that could case this basic problem you are describing... While a dirty throttle body can cause it to die at stops, it won't give you a rough idle....
If the car is running that bad the check engine light would have to be on or have been on & someone cleared it.....
1st step would be to retrieve the codes to see if there is any help there.....
