Fuel pressure fades away after a minute and I unhooked the map censor vacume and it stays running it has a new fuel pump and a new distributor. 1985 Chevy Impalla 4,3 v6

Once you build pressure, momentarily pinch off the feed line before your gauge and see if the dropping stops when you do that to indicate a bad fuel pump. If that doesn't stop it, try the same test on the return line to indicate a regulator or injector leak. This car should have rubber fuel lines.
