I have the 3.1 in my 97 chevy lumina, i have a blown head gasket and 9 times out of 10 both of them are blown. The engine head is aluminum so it is warped, should i fix the gaskets or buy another engine just in case the gaskets blow again?

How do you know the head is warped? Proper job would include getting both heads checked at a machine shop and replace both gaskets. Replacements can do better than originals. What's the overall condition of this engine before you choose to scrap it?
