Water leak Sign In

FrownCrazyUnsureHi,
I've got a 2001 Dodge Caravan Sport,3.3L flex fuel ,116,500 mi. on odo but only about 30,000 on engine.
My problem is that after I had the transmission worked on recently (rebuilt)I suddenly got a leak from somewhere behind and under the upper radiator hose. I also replaced the thermostat several months ago inadvertently installing it backwards. After realizing my error I turned it back around.I also was not getting any heat in the car.Getting back to the problem at hand though is the water leak.We were coming back from shopping when the temp needle started to rise ,temp light lit and chime sounded immediately after. Thankfully were only 1 mile from home. Thanks in advance for your help.

Re: Water leak Sign In

You installed the thermostat backwards, you didn't get all the air out of the system when you refilled it and you have an obvious leak that you can't even identify. It's time to tow the car to a reputable shop.

Smile Hammer Time ,
Turns out it was nothing more than the heater hose. Just couldn't see anything to tell what it was .
