Have a 93 Mercury Grand Marquis with a 4.7L When I start the car it idles real rough till it dies. Have run the diagontics on it and it stated the Mass air flow sensor had low/ no voltage. Replaced that and no change in the idle.
When idle is raised up it smoothes out and idles great. If the MAS is unplugged it idles good till it is put in gear then becomes very rough. once you start driving the car the engine smoothes out and runs good till you start coming to a stop then engine wants to die.
Any ideas ? I am getting frustrated with the whole thing.....
