Does the engine actually stop running? And, if it does, does it restart immediately? Or do you have to wait a while before it will restart? Or..does it just start losing power and slows down? How long can you drive it @ 60mph before it starts acting up? Can you drive it all day long @ 55mph? Try and be as specific with the symptoms as possible. You mentioned crank sensor. Did you have a trouble code indicating a problem there? Have you had the fuel pressure tested?

I also have a Lumina APV- mine is a 1996 3.4. I have run into the same problem more than once. I could drive 30 miles and it would run fine and then just quit! Would NOT restart. Trailor it home and it would drive off the trailor like nothing ever happened. I havechanged fuel filters, fuel pump, IAC motor, many hours of pulling out what hair I have left. It was the plug wires. Change them. Buy good ones because they are a pita to change. Hope it helps, post back. Bill
