Hiya! I have got an VW Touran 2.0 TDI 2005, currently I am receiving pop-ups illustrating thus " Emissions Workshop" - Instructing me to go to the emissions Workshop. Nowadays, the car does not accelerate quick enough and drives really struggles to drive fast. The problem has worsened because I can notice the changes in the efficiency of driving. I have tried to drive the car on M1 motorway in a super - speed continuously for 150 miles in order to burn the carbon Emission however, it did not give any impact at all! I am still receiving messages " Emission Workshop!" whenever I start the car. How can I seriously solve this problem? Please could you help me! :))

It's serious enough that if you keep driving it like that you will cause major damage to your emission system. The emission workshop is re-gen when your car goes into re-gen it's trying to burn all the crap out of your catalytic converter. Which means your cat is plugged, turbo issues, possible waste gate issues or major air restriction. Somthing I would bring in and have checked soon the more you drive under this condition the more damage it will do to other components.
