Trouble with Ford 7.5

1993 Ford F350 7.5engine Pulled motor to replace heads, instajjed motor back into the truck. got motor running, acts like there is a vacum leak but can,t find one also with engine running if you turn on lights it shuts off motor. Ran through all of wiring can't find no shorts, crossed wires or loose grounds. engine rolls when trying to set timing and not always geting a light up on my timing light(brand new). Please help at a loss of ideas, Thank You

All other aside the clue is in the headlights killing the motor somehow IMO. Unplug them as a test and if still dies it's not excessive draw from headlights but a wire somewhere that perhaps only has one strand left in it from the trauma of engine being remove most likely, T
