For the last few weeks I have noticed something funny when starting my truck. The dash board lights flicker and make a clicking sound before the truck starts. I have noticed that the battery light flashes when this happens, but I can't remember if it does that every time the truck starts or not. The problem seems to be getting a little worse each day. My question is this, Am I just dealing with a battery that needs to be replaced or could there possibly be a bigger problem? Today's batteries (like everything else), don't seem to last 5 years. I would replace the battery and have the charging system checked.
