Transmission Question Sign In

i have a 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer automatic 4 cylinder transmission and i was wondering if there was a way that i can install paddle shifters in my car.Smile

Laugh - had to Google what the heck those are. I see the idea and it might end up handy but I wouldn't alter a 3 year old car with unknown quality of stuff out there if it was mine,

i think you mean 4 cylinder engine, automatic transmission. I believe if the car had option for manual shift it would already have paddles on 2008 lancer from what I seen on the internet. If you transmission as option for manual shift there are kits out there that come with clock spring and everything for racing style.

This in mind you do realize you will be modifying your wiring and unless you know exactly what your doing electrically I would not attempt this. Not to mention you will be running your airbag wiring though a cheap Chinese clockspring. That could be a disaster waiting to happen.
