Tachometer jumping on Honda Accord

I have a 1996 Honda Accord with a 2.7 V6 and the tach starts bouncing up and down and sometimes stops working, when this happens the engine will start running rough and misfireing , This only happens when engine is hot ,

You might want to do some testing on the crank sensor.
