TROUBLE CODE 0443 EVAP SENSOR Login - Sign Up

i HAVE A 1996 MUSTANG 3.8 V6 i KEEP GETTING TROUBLE CODE 0443 EVAP VMV CIRCUIT FAULT EVERY TIME I PUT GAS IN THE TANK. I HAVE CHANGED OUT THE EVAP SENSOR AND CLEARED THE CODE, HOWEVER, NOW THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON EVERY TIME I PUT GAS IN IT. THE TROUBLE CODE IS STILL 0443

What exactly did you change? There is nothing called an "EVAP sensor".

slobberkat; The P0443 is "purge cannister solenoid". Assuming that you didn't get a defective one, it is going to take a
'Break out box' to find the problem. Most shops should have this tool. You can expect an hour or two of diagnosing. The break out box must be connected between the PCM and the main harness, then checking of circuits.
