2002 Chevy cavalier 2.2 liter automatic. Has new cat, fuel filter, TPS, plugs and wires. 80,000 miles. When it is wet out it will not accelerate. Takes forever to get up to 70 mph. kinda sounds like the rpm
revs a little bit in between stumbles. The check engine light is not on. gas mileage is horrible.
What could it be?

Theres are few things that come to mind.....rain getting into gas tank thru gas cap/ a intake leak drawing in the moisture.Can you explain if there are any other symthoms you have notice?

An ignition coil(s) can cause this wet running problem, as in the spark can find its way through the side of a coil rather then out the high tension tower, down the spark plug wire to the spark plug.
What you could try doing to confirm this, is to mix up a saltwater solution of about 15% salt in a pump spray bottle.
Start the engine and then lightly mist the coils & ignition wires with the salt water.
The salt conducts electricity and if there is electrical leakage at the coil(s) or ignition wires; you should be able to see the spark jumping to ground (metal object).
I’ve also seen what looks like lightening bolts on the case of the coil(s) or travelling along the length of the ignition wires.

Remember to just lightly mist the coil(s) more is not better in this case and if you do this in low light conditions, it’ll be easier to see the spark. If the electrical leakage is bad enough the engine may even begin to misfire.
When you’re done with this test rinse the coils and ignition wires with fresh water; you don’t want to leave the salt there.
