Still won't start

I found he #1 on the distributor cap and hooked the firing order up correct. (thank-you). But the truck still won't start. Checked the gaping on the spark plugs the battery wires and battery. All good. It sounds like it's trying to turn over, fan turns engine shakes a little but it just won't start. HELP!!

Have you checked to see if it is getting spark? Chevy was bad about the ignition module failing and the pole piece wiring breaking. Also check the rotor to be sure it has not burned a hole in it. And be sure the ground tab is in cap if it is HEI ignition.
