If this vehicle is hard to start when cold (sounds like attempting turn over) could I need a new starter? If so I was needing a walk-through like something alldata would show like steps and pictures and average time it would take. It is my friends vehicle and I have never worked on a pathfinder before. I took a look at it and I don't like it. Help would be greatly appreciated.

First thing to check is the state of charge on the battery, condition of connetions on battery, condition of csables going to engine and starter. The starter is usually the last thing that causes slow cranking. Being way2old is why I need help from younger minds
