Hi, I have a 1978 Chevy Cheyenne and every time i go to start it, it runs okay but when i go to put it into drive and then push on the gas, it dies. Everyday it gets progressively worse. i notice it only does this when i break and then go to the gas. Sometimes i can get it going for a min or two but then ill be at a stop sign and i go to give it gas and it just stops. I asked a few people and they said that it sounds like the transmission but were anymore help then that. I havent tried anything yet because i have no mechanical background, im just learning. Please help. Thanks =]

No, that sounds more like a fuel problem. Could be fuel pump, fuel lines or carburetor.
