Stalling at idle, due to loss of fuel pressure. Sign In

My car started stalling at idle, so i replaced the Air idle intake valve first thinking it was the my issue, i've also replaced the TPS, evap purge solenoid, gas cap, and fuel pressure regulator (lost the clip and it's held in place by nails, vanished into the tight spaces of my engine compartment...

What i do know is, the reason it stalls is it is out of gas, using a fuel pressure gauge i watched it drop 20psi then drop lower and lower until the car cannot run any longer. this is also followed by not being able to start right way as my lines are empty, warmer temperatures cause quicker stalling. Also it doesn't like to start after sitting overnight.

I wasn't thinking fuel pump because it runs great on the open road, and has zero problems with me putting my foot down to get up to speed. Could this problem be just from bad o-rings on my fuel pump? and it not having the pressure to keep it loaded when it's sitting there? Also i should add that it sometimes die and i can hear the fuel pump kicking on.

I'm still new to all this working on car stuff, and am learning. Please help this stumped amateur mechanic. Thanks.

That's pretty much going to be a bad pump. I would replace the filter at the same time.
