Spark Plugs Burnning Green and Black

I have a 2004 Chevy Caviler it is a 4 cyclender 2.2 overhead. My car has a very bad spark nock and I have done everything you can do to fix the problem. When I went to change my plugs they were burnning green and black and I was wanting to know why this would be happing because the car does not run hot and I'm getting this green color on my plugs.

Water/coolant in the combustion chamber will/can cause a knock. Water burns VERY hot. Heat causes the knock.
Green? Are you running green anti-freeze or Dex-Cool (the orange stuff)? I'd recommend having it checked for head gasket leakage. The anti-freeze can be leaking into an exhaust port which won't neccessarily cause overheating until your coolant level gets low. Are you having to add coolant?
