I have a 1996 Saturn sl sedan, I was told about six months ago by the Saturn dealership that it is going to need new motor mounts, well I still have not had it done. My question is this, when it is cold and you start it it sounds like the engine is racing very fast and it is loud, and one time when I was on the highway and hit the brakes hard it started to shake (ABS-?), once it warms up it is not tto bad, could the motor mounts being bad cause it to make the loud noise because engine is vibrating/bad mounts? Thanks....
