Rerouting serpentine

1992 Olds 88 royale 231c.i. v6 3800 TPI, 117000K. The compressor clutch plate and compressor came loose ,tightened up whole compressor to mounts.. I was running car and compressor came loose again ,this time it threw the belt and the compressor AND mounts both broke off. I was able to cut the lines and pull compressor out. Is there anyway to reroute serpentine belt with now no place to put an idler pulley at least where compressor was. Can I just install a smaller belt? The mounts look like they were part of the whole kit and kaboodle.

Found one out there! Not sure if just a shorter belt can work. They make compressor by-pass pulleys as above but not sure it will work with how mounts are broken in your car. The faster better thing is to just get a junkyard compressor and parts that broke and place it in there - leave clutch unplugged and you have just a pulley again. I didn't find a belt listed for this car if it came new without A/C which it might have but also might have placed everything different - plain dunno on that one.
I looked at belt routing diagram and it doesn't look like you can do this without a pulley in place...but there's a chance. Is compressor the lower right in this diagram and other items in those places? If so and there's a straight line between center shown item and top right without obstruction you should be able to with a shorter belt - ask at a parts store if they just know if one will go for this car already known to do just what you are thinking. I couldn't find that so easy just now....
