ROVER 416 rattle noise after changing gear and accelerating

Hello
I have a Rover 416 and every time i put the car into gear and press the accelerator there is a strange rattling noise coming from the car. it only lasts a second or two but it does it every time i change gear and put my foot on the accelerator. does anyone have any idea what this is or has it happened to them before? it doesnt happen when you simply rev the engine in neutral, just when acclerating.

I'm not hearing it myself of course but this could easily be something loose or too close with exhaust system parts. Many you can find with the vehicle cold and grab and bump them around, tap with a rubber hammer or just see some clamp, hanger or heat sheild that's not right,
