Poured window washer fluid in white excess engine coolant container Sign In

My daughter by accident poured window washer fluid in the container where the excess engine coolant goes (white container). How do I flush this out? I didn't see any hoses connected to this container but I know there has to be one somewhere. There is one screw holding the container. This is a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan. I did not let her start the van so I'm hoping this washer fluid is just sitting there and hasn't gone into the engine. Was this the right thing to do? How do I get the window washer fluid out of this container? I don't have a manual for the van. Thank you so much for your help.

Washer fluid is only water with a little soap in it. It's not going to hurt anything. If you want to you can remove the tank and dump it out or use some kind of tool to suck it out but it should be fine either way.

Agree: Most (read the container) is just tinted (harmless) and alcohol which will evaporate away however you do need to watch for the real anti-freeze protection level and again.

They are selling washer fluid that is a glycol that won't evaporate - typically yellow colored but read container. That I would flush out but harmless for now IMO too,
