I have a 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT 4cyl

It is not overheating completely. Just getting hotter than it should (a little bit above half)

I have put coolant in and it seems to be fine for 4-5 days. Around the 5th day, when I am sitting still (at a red light or stop sign) the car starts to heat up to a little more than half.

Once I let the car cool and add more coolant it will again be okay for 4-5 days.

I just want to stop the problem before it turns out to be anything major. Anymore details you need please let me know. Thanks for reading :)

Re: Overheating Sign In

Well, it's pretty obvious that you have a leak. Pressure test the system, find the leak and repair it.
