Noisy tappets on Vauhual corsa 1.4 DOHC Sign In

I have purchased a 1999reg (S) Vauxhaul Corsa 1.4 sport DOHC 16v for my daughter.
The engine has a belt driven double overhead cam amd has done 100k miles
Everything has been fine for a few weeks but suddenly when the car is started up after being idle for a short while there is a significant rattling noise from the top end.
This will continue for up to 10 or 20 seconds and then the noise fades out. If I then restart the car everything is fine and the noise does not return when driving it about or at tickover etc. However if you stop the engine and leave it for 20 mins and start it up again the problem returns.
I am not a mechanic but to me it sounds like oil is not reaching the hydraulic valve lifters/tappets quickly enough either through low oil pressure ( but the oil pressure warning light goes out quickly and stays out) or there is a restriction or partial blockage in the oil ways to or around the cylinderhead/valve train.
HAS ANYBODY COME ACROSS THIS BEFORE????? AND HOW CAN IT BE FIXED.
I have already tried using wynes engine flush and changed the oil and oil filter. The new oil also has a can of wynes hydraulic valves lifter concentrate in it to keep everything clean but it does not seem to make any difference.

This vehicle not sold where most regulars are here but still if you know a rubber timing belt is original from 1999 and 100k it's way overdue. Many engine will crash valves and or more damage if complete break and not run all at once then and there without warning.

Some could jump a tooth or two and still run with valves just touching top of pistons. Check that dang thing as it's big trouble in most if it breaks and hope if just jumped it didn't damage anything,

Hi Thanks for reply.
I did not realise it was a US site when I posted.
Just for info the prob has been diagnosed as worn hydraulic valve lifters taking their time to pressurise

Cheers

Paul

P.S the Cam Belt is changed every 25k miles as per manafacturers specs.

Site is for anyone but better for cars sold to US.

Are you sure the belt is suggested every 25k as in 25,000 miles? Most are at least 60k or 6-7 years whichever comes first + some a bit more but do as suggested as now you found info I can't find so easily.

Hope it's not harmed whatever is found, T
