Idles wont rev up smothers then back fires idles with siight miss and over feuling

Site has spell check which would help and more info on the history of a car this old.
Backfiring and I believe you meant it really wont rev up at all or not much? That could be ignition parts from distributor to spark plugs, valve timing off will throw everything off.
You could try looking at the plugs and see if they are uniform or engine is picking one or more that don't match others in condition and while out do a compression check.
Did you just get this or if you've had it a while did this trouble just happen recently? Has it been stored for years and if so, how?
Basically need more information about the situation,
