Needs jump start after cylinder head repair Sign In

I have T reg landrover Discovery TD5. It has recently been in for a long repair to a cracked cylinder head. It was kept outside during the 10 weeks this repair took. Following the repair to the cylinder head the car won't start without a jump start. Could anyone help as to the reason this might be the case.

Probably just needs a new battery.

Have to agree. Even if battery was on the newer side 10 weeks is a long time to just sit. Even dew on it will trickle drain it in time and if stayed zero dead is real hard on automotive batteries,
