Hi I have a 1993 Mazda Protege Dx 5spd,
couple days ago i changed my valve cover gasket couse it was busted and it leaked oil, so after i did that i changed my spark plugs and the wires as well, the next day i went to power wash my engine at a local car wash ... after i was done when i started my car the rpms seemed a little to low .5 thousand rpms and normaly they would be at around 1.3 thousand and when i revved the engine the whole car shakes and the rpm's go up and then slowly go down when i got my foot all the way down at the pedal .... and when i press the pedal lightly the rpms just slowly move up fine without the car shaking.... if u have any ideas what could it be then help me !!!!

Since you drove to do this the engine was hot and you shouldn't power wash when hot. Even your new parts might have been damaged but I would look for any of the high voltage ign parts to be the problem. You might even see arcing if dark enough,
